Windermere Branch
Windermere - Ask at DeskToddlers will explore a playful mix of songs, rhymes, and stories while building early literacy skills and having fun. Recommended for ages 18–36 months.
This program is based on the nationally recognized initiative, Every Child Ready to Read, which helps caregivers and their little ones learn about the five early literacy skills: talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing.
Windermere Branch
Located in a small “Florida Cracker” style building, with an appealing wrap-around porch, the Windermere branch has an interesting history that spans over four decades. Begun as a town library, it became a branch of the Orange County Library System in August 1991. The current building was constructed through the efforts and the generous donations of many Windermere residents, including those of the Franklin P. Chase Family.
