Chickasaw - LabCome and sew at the Chickasaw Branch and bring your sewing projects. All the tools are here for you. Participants are required to bring their own materials. Machine sewing skills are required.
Come and sew at the Chickasaw Branch and bring your sewing projects. All the tools are here to create your projects. Participants must bring all of the fabric, patterns, thread and notions (e.g. interfacing, zippers, etc.) needed for the project.
- Singer Heavy Duty Sewing Machines and tools available for you to use.

Prerequisites to use a sewing machine:
- Sewing: Introduction to the Sewing Machine
OR - Participants must be able to wind a bobbin, thread a sewing machine, sew straight seams, read simple patterns and cut fabric with minimal assistance.

Age requirements: Adults; for anyone from age 11-17, guardian must sign waiver and accompany the child.

Chickasaw Branch
LYNX Bus Link 15 Curry Ford Road / Valencia College East
Chickasaw Branch is the newest addition to Orange County Library System. It is located in east Orange County on North Chickasaw Trail near the corner of Valencia College Lane. The branch is minutes away from several educational institutions (including elementary and middle schools and Valencia College) making it a popular spot for students of all ages. This library boasts several unique features including a pebble chime, modern architectural awnings and two outdoor decks where the community can relax and enjoy our great Florida weather. Opened on July 18, 2015, Chickasaw Branch was funded by a Florida Library Construction Grant.
