Technology ClassroomAdd to your project possibilities by crocheting in the round! Create amigurumi, hats, bowls and more. Learn how to create circles with increase stitches and use stitch markers to track your work.
- Class Duration: 2 hours
- Age Requirements: 13-Adult, 11-12 with accompanying adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: Let's Crochet Level 2
- Required Skills: Someone who grasps the most basic stitches and can finish simple patterns with aid.
- Materials Fee: None
- Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)
Optional Materials: Materials are provided for this class. Students may bring the following optional materials to complete the project:
- Yarn: Size 5/bulky weight yarn preferably in a pastel color to see stitches
- Hook: Size L/11 (8mm)

| Advanced | Someone who can adjust patterns to their own preferences, substitute yarn, and produce neat results consistently in flat, round, lace, and three-dimensional projects. |

Southwest Branch
Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
