- Class Duration: 1.5 hours
- Age Requirements: 13-Adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: None
- Required Skills: Ability to measure with a ruler and cut with scissors, can tie basic knots like shoelaces
- Materials Fee: None
- Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)
Suggested Materials: Students should have the following materials to complete the project*:
- At least 2 yards of jewelry cording - ie: shoelaces, parachute cord, suede cord, cotton cord, or nylon cord
- 2 different colors recommended
- Scissors
- Beads (optional)

Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library.
