Focus on Reading is Windermere's topic-based book club. It meets once a month and alternates between fiction and non-fiction topics. The fiction sessions are called Focus on Books. The non-fiction sessions are called Focus on Hobbies.

About the branch

Located in a small "Florida Cracker" style building, with an appealing wrap-around porch, the Windermere branch has an interesting history that spans over four decades. Begun as a town library, it became a branch of the Orange County Library System in August 1991. The current building was constructed through the efforts and the generous donations of many Windermere residents, including those of the Franklin P. Chase Family.
