Get ready for Valentine's Day with this cute pouch perfect for holding candy and love notes! This is a great project for crochet beginners who are looking for a way to practice basic stitches.

  • Class Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes 
  • Age Requirements: Adult
  • Recommended Prerequisite: Crochet In the Round
  • Required Skills: Someone who easily handles standard stitches and can follow simple patterns.
  • Materials Fee: None
  • Out of District Fee: $10 dollars per part of part of class (includes class and materials fees)

Required Materials: Students will need the following materials to complete the project: 

  • Pattern: Beary Sweet Pouch - Snappy Tots
  • Yarn(s): Size 4 Medium yarn in reds, pinks, white, and black, about 50 yards of each
  • Hooks: 5.0mm 
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors
  • Optional: 2 small black buttons (for eyes), button for closure, snaps for closure

Level Description
Beginner Someone who grasps the most basic stitches and can finish simple patterns with aid.
Confident Beginner Someone who easily handles standard stitches and can follow simple patterns.
Intermediate Someone who can follow most patterns with ease, is able to read stitches and charts, and to whom working in the round is no longer a challenge.
Advanced Someone who can adjust patterns to their own preferences, substitute yarn, and produce neat results consistently in flat, round, lace, and three-dimensional projects.
