Virtual Melrose Classroom 2Students learn what a pop song is and how to create songs their audience will want to hear repeatedly. This class is taught by Melrose Performing Arts instructors.
Pop music is listenable and relatable music for the masses. While it may seem simple, writing a pop song can be complex. In this class we will examine formulas and styles pop songwriters use to get the catchy, fun, radio-friendly songs we get stuck in our heads and how to get them to stay there.
