Victoria Christopher Murray coming to Southwest Library in April 2025! Join us for the 18th Annual Southwest Author Series featuring Victoria Christopher Murray. Presented in partnership with the Rotary Club of Dr. Phillips. This event is free and registration is encouraged, as seating will be limited. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and light refreshments will be served. Author presentation begins at 7 p.m. Book sale and signing to follow. Victoria Christopher Murray is the New York Times and USA Today best selling author of more than 30 novels, including the New York Times Instant Best Sellers, The Personal Librarian and The First Ladies. Both novels, Victoria co-wrote with Marie Benedict.
The Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
