Crochet Along 2025: Diamond Crossbody Bag (12 Parts)

Online Fiber Arts ClassroomJoin us for this year long series to create a crocheted crossbody bag. This class meets once a month to complete a longform project together in a warm and welcoming environment!
- Class Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes per part
- Age Requirements: Adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: Students have completed projects successfully on their own, and are comfortable with handsewing (we will also learn this during class, so while it will make the project easier, it is not necessary to participate)
- Required Skills: Someone who can adjust patterns to their own preferences, substitute yarn, and produce neat results consistently in flat, round, lace, and three-dimensional projects.
- Materials Fee: None
- Out of District Fee: $10 dollars per part of part of class (includes class and materials fees)
Required Materials: Students will need the following materials to complete the project:
- Pattern: Girl's Best Friend Crossbody Purse: Free Crochet Pattern - Heart Hook Home
- Yarns: Size 4 Medium yarn in a cotton or cotton blend (other natural materials may work such as linen or bamboo, but look for yarn with a thick and sturdy texture)
- Hooks: 4.0mm
- 1-2 fat quarters of fabric for the lining, depending on the finished size of the blocked bag
- Hand sewing needle
- Matching thread
- A 9" zipper, any material
- Optional: Metal chain and two D Rings for the strap
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Stitch markers
