Online Class: Let's Embroider Level 2

Beginner Level

Add to your stitch repertoire. Learn how to create French knots, chain stitches and satin stitches, while practicing the running and back stitches.

• Class Duration: 1.5 hours
• Age Requirements: 13-Adult
• Recommended Prerequisite: Let's Embroider Level 1
• Required Skills: Ability to hoop fabric, thread a needle, execute running and back stitches.
• Materials Fee: None 
• Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees) 

Suggested Materials: Students should have the following materials to complete the project*:

• 6-inch or 7-inch Hand Embroidery Hoop 
• Embroidery Needle
• 10x10 inch to 12x12 inch light-colored Cotton Fabric
• Cotton Embroidery Floss (up to 3 colors)
• Scissors

*If you do not have the suggested materials, please use any materials you have on hand. At the start of class, please inform the instructor if you are using materials other than those suggested.

This is an online class hosted through Zoom. You will receive an email with a link to access the Zoom room before the event.  

A computer with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. A webcam and microphone are suggested to fully participate. Please note that Zoom allows you to share your video and audio with the group. If you choose to enable these settings, you are consenting to appear on audio and video. This event is not being recorded and we ask that out of courtesy to the other participants, please refrain from screen captures, photography or resharing information about the participants or the discussion outside of this event.

If using a mobile device, Android and iOS users must install the Zoom App (App Store | Play Store). However, please note interactivity may be limited.
