Family Fiber Arts: Festive Fall Garland

Technology ClassroomHand-sew some cute decorations to make your own festive seasonal garland. Best for ages 10+. This program is intended for families, whatever family means to you.
- Class Duration: 1 hour
- Age Requirements: Families, children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult
- Required Skills: None
- Materials Fee: None
- Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)
Students can choose to bring the following materials:
- 1 or 2 sheets each of craft felt (leaf colors, orange for pumpkins, or even white for ghosts - whatever you like!)
- Embroidery Needle
- Cotton Embroidery Floss (bring colors to go with your decor and match your felt)
- Twine or yarn (for the garland)
- Craft glue (like Tacky Craft Glue)
**The library will provide a limited selection of materials.
We will be hand-sewing decorations with felt, so be ready to thread a needle and sew a simple running stitch!

Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
