Sewing - Cat Ears Headband (2-Part)

Fiber Arts Studio - Second FloorSew a headband with cat ears to complete a halloween costume. Pattern size ranges from 19” heads to 25” heads so it should fit many kids as well as adults. Students are required to bring materials.

- Class Duration: 2 Hours each day, 2 days
- Age Requirements: 13-Adult with signed Terms of Use
- Recommended Prerequisite: Introduction to the Sewing Machine
- Required Skills: Students must be able to proficiently use a standard sewing machine, read patterns and cut fabric.
- Materials Fee: None
- Out of District Fee: $20
Students are required to bring materials:
- ¼yd.of main fabric (moderate stretch knits such as fleece)
- 3" x 3" piece of pink applique fabric for inner ears (felt, cotton, etc.)
- 3" x 3" piece of yellow applique fabric for moon (felt, cotton, etc.)

Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. The Children’s Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
