Bookbinding – Tunnel Book (2 Parts) Yarnfiti Project
Wednesday, July 24
11:00am - 1:00pm
Orlando Public Library
Melrose Conference Room - Second FloorReading beneath a tree with the sounds of nature floating on the breeze can be enchanting enough, but these books have a little extra magic within them.
This is a (2-part) project with classes on 07/24/2024 and 07/31/2024. This series will demonstrate how to combine accordion folds and paper cutting to create a layered book structure. The final structure will be an artistic forest scene with a surprising amount of depth. A completed tunnel book will make a great addition to this year’s Yarnfiti Community Art Project Installation. For more information about this year’s Yarnfiti installation, please visit: https://ocls.info/yarnfiti-community-art-project/.
