Fiber artists, share in the magic of making as we create an enchanted forest of handcrafted art. Bring your fiber arts project to work on for Yarnfiti Community Art Project.

Yarnfiti is an annual community-created art installation. This year, in addition to knitting and crochet, contributors are invited to submit projects from a variety of crafts including, sewing, embroidery, weaving and more!  Classes and meetups will be available to help collaborate on pieces from suggested patterns. Contributors are also encouraged to submit creations of their own design.

Age Requirements: All ages
Recommended Prerequisite: None
Required Skills: Your skill level of your chosen fiber art.
Materials Needed: Please bring your own materials for your project.

    About the branch

    LYNX Bus Link 15 Curry Ford Road / Valencia College East

    Chickasaw Branch is the newest addition to Orange County Library System. It is located in east Orange County on North Chickasaw Trail near the corner of Valencia College Lane. The branch is minutes away from several educational institutions (including elementary and middle schools and Valencia College) making it a popular spot for students of all ages. This library boasts several unique features including a pebble chime, modern architectural awnings and two outdoor decks where the community can relax and enjoy our great Florida weather. Opened on July 18, 2015, Chickasaw Branch was funded by a Florida Library Construction Grant.
