Take the first steps to making your very own board game pieces and boards with our hands on guided workshop.
Ever wanted your own special edition of a board game? Looking for where to start designing your own game for publishing? Our Makerspace instructors will help you envision, design and bring to life the parts, pieces and boards you need for a custom board game. During the workshop you will experience every step from brainstorm to the finished product. Our professional instructors will guide you through the whole process.
Class Duration: 2 days, 2 hours each
Age Requirements: 13+
Recommended Prerequisite: None
Required Skills: This hands-on workshop requires basic computer usage skills, working with wood glue and using acrylic paints.

The Children’s Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
