Create a fun crochet project. Learn how to increase/decrease while stitching a tiny friend.

  • Class Duration: 2 Hours
  • Age Requirements: 13-Adult, 11-12 with accompanying adult
  • Recommended Prerequisite: Crochet in the Round
  • Required Skills: Someone who easily handles standard stitches and can follow simple patterns.
  • Materials Fee: None
  • Out of District Fee: 10$ (includes class and materials fees)

Optional Materials: Students may bring the following materials to complete the project: 

  • Pattern:https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/ernesto-il-gufo  Please Note: Students must bring a printed copy of the pattern or be able to access it on a mobile device.
  • Yarn(s): 3 colors of your choice (recommended that two are yellow and white (for beak and stripes), must all be same weight
  • Hook(s): Follow guidance from yarn chosen
  • Amigurumi eyes or black yarn/tapestry thread for eyes

Washington Park Branch serves the Carver Shores and Metrowest areas, along with the many other subdivisions and local businesses surrounding it. The Washington Park branch has a history that dates back to 1924. It is a combination of the former Booker T. Washington and Washington Shores Libraries. The two branches combined as one and opened in this current location on April 11, 1984. Although small, the glass walls on the front and back of the building create a bright, airy and comfortable atmosphere.
