Create a fun sewing project. Sew a foldable ironing pad and take it anywhere. Learn how to create basic quilting designs. Students are required to bring materials.

  • Duración de la clase: 2 horas

  • Prerequisito Recomendado: Introducción a la Máquina de Coser
  • Destrezas Requeridas: Alguien que pueda coser costuras rectas y curvas manteniendo un margen de costura constante, que pueda enhebrar una máquina estándar y enrollar una bobina, que tenga conocimientos básicos de diferentes tipos de telas y que haya completado varios proyectos.

  • 1 yarda de tela algodón
  • 2 Yarda guata  100% algodón (Wrap-N-Zap Cotton Batting)
  • Hilo (all purpose) 
  • 1 yarda de Insul-Bright

About the branch

LYNX Bus Link 41 State Road 436

North Orange Branch began as a bookmobile station in 1950, and was replaced by a branch in 1964. Moving to the Palm Plaza Shopping Center in 1969, the branch occupied a 3500 square foot space there for twenty years. In 1989 the branch moved to its present 12,000 square foot facility. As the name implies, North Orange Branch serves the areas of Apopka, Plymouth, Zellwood, Tangerine, and environs.
