Pro Tools Level 2 is a follow-up to Pro Tools Level 1, diving deeper into the software's editing and mixing capabilities. The class begins with a review of basic editing functions and an introduction to more advanced techniques. It then covers the use of inserts, busses, and aux tracks for processing audio signals. The class uses real-world examples from Melrose in the Mix sessions to demonstrate these concepts in action, allowing students to see the techniques being applied to a professional project. By the end of the class, students will have a stronger understanding of Pro Tools' editing and mixing capabilities and be able to apply these skills to their own projects.
Required Skills: Ability to navigate within Pro Tools and use basic tools, such as the Zoom tool. Understanding of the physics of sound and digital audio theory, including sample rate and bit depth.

The Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The Library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in the Orlando Public Library include Children's, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children's Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Technology and Education Center is located on the second floor and includes the Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
