Let's Knit Tube Socks (8-Part)

Confident Beginner Level

Knit your first pair of socks. Without a defined heel, tube socks present an easier way to start socks. Practice knitting in the round while learning how to shape socks and knit stretchy openings.

This class is a series, held on Fridays, September 15-November 17 at 10:ooam-12:00pm.

• Class Duration: 8 parts, 2 hours each part
• Age Requirements: 13-Adult, 11-12 with accompanying adult
• Recommended Prerequisite: Let's Knit in the Round - Circular Needles
• Required Skills: Someone who grasps the most basic stitches and can finish simple patterns with aid.
• Materials Fee: None
• Out of District Fee: $80 (includes class and materials fees)

Note: An accurate foot measurement is required for this class. Be prepared to measure your foot or bring a foot measurement from the back of the heel to the longest toe and around the widest part of your foot to the first class.

Required Materials: Students must bring the following materials to complete the project:

• Yarn: At least 400 yards of size 4/medium weight yarn
• Needles: US 5 (3.75 mm) circular needles, 8" or 9" in length
• Ring/round stitch marker
