Knit your first pair of socks. Without a defined heel, tube socks present an easier way to start socks. Practice knitting in the round while learning how to shape socks and knit stretchy openings.
This class is a series, held on Fridays, September 15-November 17 at 10:ooam-12:00pm.
Note: An accurate foot measurement is required for this class. Be prepared to measure your foot or bring a foot measurement from the back of the heel to the longest toe and around the widest part of your foot to the first class.

Level | Description |
Beginner | Someone who grasps the most basic stitches and can finish simple patterns with aid. |
Confident Beginner | Someone who easily handles standard stitches and can follow simple patterns. |
Intermediate | Someone who can follow most patterns with ease, is able to read stitches and charts, and to whom working in the round is no longer a challenge. |
Advanced | Someone who can adjust patterns to their own preferences, substitute yarn, and produce neat results consistently in flat, round, lace, and three-dimensional projects. |

The Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The Library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in the Orlando Public Library include Children's, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children's Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Technology and Education Center is located on the second floor and includes the Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
