Little Chef: Frozen Treats

Virtual Room - South CreekBeat the heat with a variety of ice-cold frozen treat recipes. Little ones will learn cooking skills such as kitchen safety, layering, measuring, and presentation. Recommended for ages 3-5.
Supplies needed for Watermelon Sorbet:
- 6 tbsp rock salt
- Ice cubes
- 1-2 cups seedless watermelon (or pureed watermelon)
- 1 cup cream (optional)
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
- Measuring cups and spoons
- 1 freezer gallon bag
- 1 freezer quart bag
- Food processor or blender
- Towel
Supplies needed for Fudgesicles:
- 14 fl. oz. coconut milk or coconut cream
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 8 oz chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Popsicle molds or small cups & popsicle sticks
- Saucepan & stove
- Whisk
