In-Person: Access Assessment Silhouette Cameo

Makerspace - Second FloorPrior to reserving the Silhouette Cameo 4, users are required to successfully complete a brief thirty minute assessment.
The assessment will cover Silhouette Cameo 4 skills and workflows, including: importing files, safety guidelines, cutting/engraving parameters and cutting/engraving operations.
- Class Duration: .5 hours. You must be present at the scheduled start time to be admitted.
- Age Requirements: Adult. Teen 15+
- Assessment Registration Requirement: To register for this assessment, cardholders must attend the General Orientation for the Melrose Center, the Silhouette Cameo Orientation, and must be at least 15 years of age. Children under 15 years of age must be accompanied by adult guardian responsible for account.
- Recommended Prerequisite: none
- Required Skills: basic computer skills, experience with Windows operations system, experience with Silhouette Studio

Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in Orlando Public Library include Children’s, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children’s Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity is located on the second floor. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
