Looking for a cozy spot to let your creativity bloom? Whether planting first stitches or nurturing a project, join us to share tips, talk shop and meet up with local needle and hook enthusiasts.

Bring your own work in progress, yarn & tools, ask questions, receive help, give help, share ideas, and meet new people!  

  • Class Dates & Time: Saturday, October 3rd & 17th from 10:15am to 12:15pm
  • Age Requirements: Recommended for ages 18 and up
  • What to Bring:
    • Your active knitting or crochet project (all techniques and skill levels are welcome)
    • Your pattern books, charts, or instructions you are working through
    • Your own needles, hooks, yarn, and small notions.
    • Room for the occasional frog-and-restart.
    • A love for good conversation and (possible) creative chaos.

LYNX Bus Link 612 NeighborLink 612 / Winter Garden

Built in 2005, Winter Garden branch sits at the westernmost part of Orange County. This was the last branch opened before the Great Recession of 2008. Interestingly, this is the only branch in the county built on donated land. Two acres were donated by the family of former citrus grove owner, Sylvester C. Battaglia. S.C. Battaglia’s philosophy, as stated by his son, was to “give back to the community.” The branch’s formal name S.C. Battaglia Memorial Branch, honors his contribution.

Winter Garden Branch has all the charm of a small town library plus all of the resources available through Orange County Library System. Noted for friendly and helpful staff, the branch is now serving a third generation of patrons.
