Knitting: Community Farm: Mini Pumpkins (2-Part)

Confident Beginner Level

Practice working in the round using double pointed needles while knitting mini pumpkins.

Pre-requisite: Knitting skills are necessary to be successful in this class. Skills needed include cast-on, knit, purl, knit in the round, and bind-off.

• Class Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes on Mondays, September 14 and 28
• Age Requirements: 18+
• Recommended Prerequisite: Knit Levels 1 & 2, Knitting in the Round
• Required Skills: Knit, purl, cast-on, knit in the round, bind-off
• Materials Fee: None

• Scrap amounts of worsted weight yarn for the pumpkin (feel free to substitute with DK (size 3 yarn))
• Scrap amounts of worsted weight yarn in green for the leaves
• A set of double pointed needles 2 sizes smaller than the recommended needle size for your yarn
• Knitting notions: scissors, pencil, stitch marker, tapestry needle.
