Paper Possibilities: Gift Pouch

Technology ClassroomThe Gift Pouch is a quickly folded pouch that can be used to hold gifts. Customize using your own scrapbook paper and ribbon combinations.
Required Materials
The following materials are required to complete the project:
- Square piece of plain paper for practice
- Square scrapbook paper or origami paper at least 8"x8", up to 12"x12" (thick gift wrap paper, map paper or light cardstock weight
- scrap amount of 1/4" ribbon (substitute with pearl cotton thread, worsted weight yarn, or twine) to tie close the pouch
- Optional: bonefolder for folding
This is a Virtual Event hosted through Zoom. Please provide your email at registration to participate. You will receive an email with a link to access the Zoom before the event from your event host. Zoom log-in information will be shared no later than one hour before start of event. A computer with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. A webcam and microphone are suggested to fully participate. If using a mobile device, Android and iOS users must install the Zoom App (App Store | Play Store). However, please note interactivity may be limited. Additional information will be included in the email from your event host. Recommended Audience: Adults

- Required Skills: Someone who grasps basic paper-folding techniques.

Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
