Have you completed the Adult summer reading challenge? At the Adult End of Summer Celebration, enjoy a treat and fun activities, while supplies last! Ages 18 and up.

Did you complete the Adult reading challenge?

Please remember to enter the grand prize drawing by turning in your completed paper reading tracker at any branch location between July 1 and July 26. Grand prizes will be raffled off virtually to eligible participants* ages 18 and up.

*Only participants ages 18 and up are eligible to enter. One entry per person. Orange County property owner and fee cards are eligible to win. Reciprocal borrowers, OCLS Staff and family, including board members, are ineligible. Participants are eligible to win one grand prize by completing the 2026 Adult Summer at Your Library Challenge by submitting a completed paper reading tracker to library staff by 6:00 p.m. on July 26, 2026, to be entered into the virtual raffle. Winners will be contacted by email on or before August 7.

Food will be available at this event; a list of ingredients may be provided upon request.

About the branch

Link 43 Winter Park | Pine Hills

The Fairview Shores Branch is located on Lee Road near I-4. Fairview Shores is situated to serve a wide community including College Park, Lockhart, Fairview Shores and Rosemont.

The Fairview Shores Branch first opened its doors in 1950 as the College Park Branch at 703 Smith Street. The branch moved several times over the next four decades. In 1997, the branch opened as the Edgewater Branch at its last home at 5049 Edgewater Drive in the Northgate Plaza. This location served the neighboring communities for approximately 22 years and is now expanding its reaches to the wider surrounding communities as it transforms to the new Fairview Shores Branch.

The new Fairview Shores Branch, located in the heart of the Adanson Marketplace, opened on June 3, 2019. The new location benefits from the bustle of activities with a pull from anchor stores in the shopping center.
