Online Class: Macramé a Mini Plant Hanger

Online Fiber Arts ClassroomDisplay your plants in style with macramé plant hangers. Learn how to work multiple strands of cord using lark's head, square and gathering knots.
- Class Duration: 1.5 hours
- Age Requirements: 13-Adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: None
- Required Skills: Ability to measure with a ruler and cut with scissors, can tie basic knots like shoelaces
Suggested Materials: Students should have the following materials to complete the project*:
- At least 15 yards of 4mm Macramé Cording - like Loops & Threads cotton cord - cord should easily unravel at the ends for fringe
- 2-inch size wooden ring (like Wood Rings)
- Ruler
- Scissors
- *If you do not have the suggested materials, please use any materials you have on hand. At the start of class, please inform the instructor if you are using materials other than those suggested.
This is an online class hosted through Zoom. You will receive an email with a link to access Zoom before the event.
A computer with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. A webcam and microphone are suggested to fully participate. Please note that Zoom allows you to share your video and audio with the group. If you choose to enable these settings, you are consenting to appear on audio and video. This event is not being recorded and we ask that out of courtesy to the other participants, please refrain from screen captures, photography or resharing information about the participants or the discussion outside of this event.
