Online Fiber Arts ClassroomThe Diagonal Pocket is Hedi Kyle's design from her book The Art of the Fold. The fun design is useful as a book or as a card holder.
Required Materials
The following materials are required to complete the project:
- 9”x12” scrapbook paper (easy to fold and not cardstock weight)
- Bone folder
- binder clips
Optional:
- scrap amount of pearl cotton thread
- hand sewing needle with a long eye (that fits the thread)
- needle threader
- 2-4 plain copy paper (for optional pages of the pocket)
- some felt to cushion table surface
- awl to pierce holes for the optional pages
This is a Virtual Event hosted through Zoom. Please provide your email at registration to participate. You will receive an email with a link to access the Zoom before the event from your event host. Zoom log-in information will be shared no later than one hour before start of event. A computer with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. A webcam and microphone are suggested to fully participate. If using a mobile device, Android and iOS users must install the Zoom App (App Store | Play Store). However, please note interactivity may be limited. Additional information will be included in the email from your event host. Recommended Audience: Adults
