West Oaks - Technology ClassroomPractice beginner crochet stitches by making a cute galaxy themed bag charm! Ages 6-12, beginner crochet skills (chaining, single crochet, turning) required.

Recommended Prerequisite: Students can chain, single crochet, and turn their work

Required Skills: Students can use scissors and do basic crochet skills
- Materials Fee: None
- Out of District Fee: [$10 dollars per part of part of class] (includes class and materials fees)
All materials will be provided for this class.
Note: *For the safety and comfort of children, a responsible adult or caregiver must accompany children 10 years of age or younger while they are using the Library. If there is available space, you are welcome to join your child in class. If not, or you would rather not join class, you must wait within view of classroom door.

West Oaks Branch and Genealogy Center is located in the historic city of Ocoee near the intersection of Silver Star and Clark Roads. The branch opened in August 2001 and was designed by Harvard, Jolly, Clees, Toppe Architecture Firm. West Oaks Branch provides exceptional library services to the nearly 50,000 residents of Ocoee and surrounding areas. In January 2015, the branch became the new Genealogy Center for Orange County, housing a collection of over 30,000 genealogy books. The Library is the official repository of the Florida State Society Daughters of the American Revolution. The construction of West Oaks Branch and Genealogy Center was funded by the Library System and a Florida Library Construction Grant.
