Knitting: Community Farm Mini Sheep and Lamb

Confident Beginner Level

Mini sheep are fun, quick knits that can be attached as key chains or bag charms.

Pre-requisite: Knitting skills are necessary to be successful in this class. Skills needed include cast-on, knit, purl, knit in the round, and bind-off.

• Class Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes on Mondays, July 13 and 27
• Age Requirements: 18+
• Recommended Prerequisite: Knit Levels 1 & 2, Knitting in the Round
• Required Skills: Knit, purl, cast-on, knit in the round, bind-off
• Materials Fee: None

Required Materials:

• Pattern: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sheep-farm-friends-keyring
• Scrap amounts of DK (size 3)yarn for the sheep body
• Scrap amounts of DK (size 3) yarn for the head and legs.
• Scrap amounts of black embroidery floss for the face accents
• Split keyring (optional for keychain use)
• A pair of knitting needles 2 sizes smaller than the recommended needle size for your yarn
• Knitting notions: scissors, pencil, stitch marker, tapestry needle.
