Bring your own vinyl and enjoy some music, the analog way! We will provide a Professional turntable, a Technics SL1200. Music selections must be appropriate for a public setting.

Records made out of vinyl, whether full length albums or Long Play (LP), Extended Play (EP), 7" 45 rpm or 10" Singles or 12" Maxi-Singles/Remixes were the only way to listen to music for a long time, until tape came along with 8-tracks and Cassette tapes, and later Compact Discs. Professional Electronic DJs still prefer that medium to digital. A turntable will be provided and there will be a sign up sheet to play what you bring. Music selections must be appropriate for a public setting.

Washington Park Branch serves the Carver Shores and Metrowest areas, along with the many other subdivisions and local businesses surrounding it. The Washington Park branch has a history that dates back to 1924. It is a combination of the former Booker T. Washington and Washington Shores Libraries. The two branches combined as one and opened in this current location on April 11, 1984. Although small, the glass walls on the front and back of the building create a bright, airy and comfortable atmosphere.
