Join us for this year long series to create a realistic style crocheted bouquet of flowers. This class meets once a month to complete a longform project together in a warm and welcoming environment!

This class is a series, held on the last Wednesday of every month, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

The sessions will be: 

January 2026 - Planning and discussing material choices

February 2026 - Main Flower

March 2026 - Main Flower

April 2026 - Main Flower

May 2026 - Secondary Flower

June 2026 - Secondary Flower

July 2026 - Accent Flower

August 2026 - Accent Flower

September 2026 - Greenery

October 2026 - Greenery

November 2026 - Filler

December 2026 - Arranging and Finishing

This is an online class hosted through Zoom. You will receive an email with a link to access the Zoom before the event from your event host.  

A computer with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. A webcam and microphone are suggested to fully participate. Please note that Zoom allows you to share your video and audio with the group. If you choose to enable these settings, you are consenting to appear on audio and video. This event is not being recorded and we ask that out of courtesy to the other participants, please refrain from screen captures, photography or resharing information about the participants or the discussion outside of this event.

If using a mobile device, Android and iOS users must install the Zoom App (App Store | Play Store). However, please note interactivity may be limited. Additional information will be included in the email from your event host.  

  • Class Duration: 12 parts, 1 hour and 30 minutes per part
  • Age Requirements: Adult
  • Recommended Prerequisite: Crochet In the Round, and experience crocheting from a written pattern to create 3D objects like amigurumi
  • Required Skills: Someone who can follow most patterns with ease, is able to read stitches and charts, and to whom working in the round is no longer a challenge.
  • Materials Fee: None

Required Materials: Students must bring the following materials to complete the project:

  • Pattern: Our Free Crochet Flower Bouquet patterns - Hookok
  • Yarns: Size 2 Light yarn in various colors for each flower, about 100 yards of each depending on flowers chosen
  • Hooks: 2.00mm and 2.5mm
  • Flower stem wire, number depends on how many flowers are chosen for the bouquet
  • Hot glue and hot glue gun
  • Lightweight jewelry wire, at least one roll
  • Tapestry or sewing needle
  • Scissors
  • Stitch markers
  • Materials for planning and note taking
  • Optional: paper or vase for displaying finished bouquet

Level Description
Beginner Someone who grasps the most basic stitches and can finish simple patterns with aid.
Confident Beginner Someone who easily handles standard stitches and can follow simple patterns.
Intermediate Someone who can follow most patterns with ease, is able to read stitches and charts, and to whom working in the round is no longer a challenge.
Advanced Someone who can adjust patterns to their own preferences, substitute yarn, and produce neat results consistently in flat, round, lace, and three-dimensional projects.
