Knitting: Winter Wreath (Gifting Series) (2-Part)

Confident Beginner Level

It's never too early to start preparing knitted gifts. Knit a winter wreath to decorate or give. Learn how to use cable needles to add texture and interest.

Pre-requisite: Knitting skills are necessary to be successful in this class. Skills needed include cast-on, knit, purl,  and bind-off.

• Class Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes on Tuesdays 4 and 18.
• Age Requirements: 18+
• Recommended Prerequisite: Knit Levels 1 & 2, Knitting in the Round
• Required Skills: Knit, purl, cast-on, bind-off
• Materials Fee: None

Required Materials: Students must bring the following materials to complete the project:

• Pattern: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/cozy-winter-sweater-wreath
• 110 yards of  Super Bulky Yarn (yardage varies depending on the size of the stocking)
• Size 11 knitting needles (straight or circular)
• Cable needle or short double pointed needle to hold stitches for cables.
• 17.7” Styrofoam Wreath  
• Knitting notions: scissors, pencil, stitch marker

This is a Virtual Event hosted through Zoom. You will receive an email  with a link to access the Zoom before the event from your event host. Zoom log-in information will be shared no later than one hour before start of event.

A computer with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. A webcam and microphone are suggested to fully participate.
