Practice In the Round Crochet with this adorable amigurumi pumpkin to keep or gift to a friend! All materials will be provided. Recommended for adults, registration required.

  • Recommended Prerequisite: Let's Crochet in the Round or Let's Crochet Level 1
  • Required Skills: Students can single crochet, double crochet, and chain, and are comfortable counting stitches 
  • Materials Fee: None
  • Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)

Level Description
Beginner Someone who grasps the most basic stitches and can finish simple patterns with aid.
Confident Beginner Someone who easily handles standard stitches and can follow simple patterns.
Intermediate Someone who can follow most patterns with ease, is able to read stitches and charts, and to whom working in the round is no longer a challenge.
Advanced Someone who can adjust patterns to their own preferences, substitute yarn, and produce neat results consistently in flat, round, lace, and three-dimensional projects.

About the branch

Located in a small “Florida Cracker” style building, with an appealing wrap-around porch, the Windermere branch has an interesting history that spans over four decades. Begun as a town library, it became a branch of the Orange County Library System in August 1991. The current building was constructed through the efforts and the generous donations of many Windermere residents, including those of the Franklin P. Chase Family.
