Clementine Fox and the Great Island Adventure - Session 1

Meet author Leigh Luna as we discuss Mayor Buddy’s Book Club latest read, "Clementine Fox and the Great Island Adventure." There will be a virtual Q&A with the author. Recommended for ages 8-12.

Note: This event will feature a draw-along with the author. Please have a pencil and paper available to participate.

About the Author

Leigh Luna is a cartoonist from New Mexico who currently lives in Los Angeles. Her debut comedy graphic novel, Clementine Fox and the Great Island Adventure, was published by Scholastic in 2023, with a sequel slated for 2026. Clementine Fox and the Great Island Adventure was a Harvey Award nominee and a finalist for the Pop Culture Classroom’s Excellence in Graphic Literature Award. Her animation career has included work on shows such as Cartoon Network's Steven Universe and Netflix's Centaurworld. Leigh is currently a color designer on the upcoming adult animated series The Mighty Nein.
