Did you complete the reading challenge by reading 600+ minutes during this summer?
Don't forget to enter the grand prize drawing by showing the reader's proof of completion (Beanstack email or paper reading tracker) at any branch location between July 14-July 26. Grand prizes will be raffled off virtually to eligible participants* ages 0-18. Winners will be notified via phone or email.
Only participants ages 0-18 are eligible to enter. One entry per person. Orange County property owner and fee cards are eligible to win. Reciprocal borrowers, OCLS Staff and family, including board members, are ineligible. Participants are eligible to win one grand prize by completing the 2025 Summer at Your Library Beanstack Challenge OR by submitting a completed paper reading tracker to library staff by 6:00 p.m. on July 26, 2025, to be entered into the virtual raffle. Located in a small "Florida Cracker" style building, with an appealing wrap-around porch, the Windermere branch has an interesting history that spans over four decades. Begun as a town library, it became a branch of the Orange County Library System in August 1991. The current building was constructed through the efforts and the generous donations of many Windermere residents, including those of the Franklin P. Chase Family.
