This class teaches students to host live events. They learn to introduce guests/events, drive focus and turn a crowd into an audience. These classes are taught by Melrose Performing Arts instructors.
An entertaining and engaging host can add much needed value to your live event. If you are holding a convention, a live theatre show or open mic, a good host will leave your audience feeling like they’ve gotten what they needed from your event. In this class, we will learn to introduce guests/events, drive focus and turn a crowd into an audience. We will also discuss how to use equipment, dress and present yourself on stage and on camera to entertain your audience and keep the show running.
