North Orange - Computer LabCreate a fun crochet project. Learn how to create a coin purse using the magic circle and some basic stitches.
This class is a
- Class Duration: 2 parts, 1.5 hours per part
- Age Requirements: Adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: Crochet Level 1, Crochet in the Round
- Required Skills: Be able to adjust patterns to their own preferences, substitute yarn, and produce neat results consistently in flat, round, lace, and three-dimensional projects, and hand sew at the end.
- Materials Fee: None
- Out of District Fee: [$10 dollars per part of part of class] (includes class and materials fees)
Required Materials: Students must bring the following materials to complete the project:
- Pattern: How to Crochet a Coin Purse by Melanie Ham Please Note: Students must bring a printed copy of the pattern or be able to access it on a mobile device
- Yarn(s): Recommended 4/medium weight yarn but feel free to bring what you would like.
- Hook(s): Recommended hook size for your chosen yarn

North Orange Branch

North Orange Branch began as a bookmobile station in 1950, and was replaced by a branch in 1964. Moving to the Palm Plaza Shopping Center in 1969, the branch occupied a 3500 square foot space there for twenty years. In 1989 the branch moved to its present 12,000 square foot facility. As the name implies, North Orange Branch serves the areas of Apopka, Plymouth, Zellwood, Tangerine, and environs.
