Crochet Year of the Snake (2 Parts)

Online Fiber Arts ClassroomCelebrate the Year of the Snake with this adorable amigurumi friend. We will be discussing in the round and eye placement techniques in this class.

Class Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes
- Age Requirements: Adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: Crochet In the Round
- Required Skills: Someone who easily handles standard stitches and can follow simple patterns.
- Materials Fee: None
- Out of District Fee: $10 dollars per part of part of class (includes class and materials fees)
Required Materials: Students will need the following materials to complete the project:
- Pattern: Mini Rainbow Snake Pattern
- Yarns: Either Size 3 Light or Size 4 Medium yarn in any colors (original pattern calls for many color changes, can be worked solid or in variegated as well)
- Hooks: Either a 3.5mm or a 4.5mm, depending on yarn size chosen
A scrap of white yarn for eyes - 9mm safety eyes, buttons, or a scrap of black yarn for the eyes
- Stuffing (Polyfil, fabric/yarn scraps, tissue paper, etc.)
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch markers
