Zora Neale Hurston was raised in Eatonville, FL and was an amazing storyteller and author. Preschoolers will fly on the wings of butterflies into the world of storytelling and folklore through Zora’s works and ideas.

The Eatonville Library is located in the Town of Eatonville's Zora Neale Hurston Square. Eatonville is known as the oldest incorporated African American municipality in the United States.
The Eatonville Branch is a children's library featuring material and programming for children through the sixth grade. The branch serves the residents that make up the four residential quadrants of Eatonville - Calhoun, Catalina Park, Eaton Pointe, and Lake Lovely Estates. The collection, programs, and services are also available to all Orange County residents including residents of the City of Maitland and Winter Park through reciprocal borrowing.
