Let's Crochet Level 1 & 2

Level 1 - Beginner/Confident Beginner

Start crocheting today! Learn basic techniques while creating your first project, a bracelet. Techniques include creating a slip knot, chaining, and single crochet stitches.

  • Class Duration: 2 hours
  • Age Requirements: 13-Adult, 11-12 with accompanying adult
  • Recommended Prerequisite: None
  • Required Skills: None
  • Materials Fee: None
  • Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)

Optional Materials: Materials are provided for this class. Students may bring the following optional materials to complete the project:

  • Yarn: Size 5/bulky weight yarn preferably in pastel/light colors to better see stitches
  • Hook: Size L-11 (8 mm)

About the branch

LYNX Bus Link 37 Pine Hills / Florida Mall

Hiawassee Branch began as a bookmobile station in 1962 and was first known as the Pine Hills Library. In later moves the branch became the West Colonial branch and in March 2000, Hiawassee. In early 2010, the Hiawassee Branch moved to a new home near the corner of Hiawassee Road and West Colonial Drive in the Highland Lakes shopping plaza.
