Join OCLS as we host a guided pop-up StoryWalk® at Bill Frederick Park! As participants stroll the trail they will be directed toward the next page in the story.

This event is being held at Bill Frederick Park. A small entrance fee per car is required to enter the park.

StoryWalk® is a way to enjoy the benefits of reading and the outdoors at the same time! Exercise your body and mind as you have fun reading the story and enjoying nature along the way!  The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson. 

During this event, we will be reading Bear and Wolf by Daniel Salmieri.

About the branch

The Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
