- Class Duration: 1.5 hours
- Age Requirements: 13-Adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: Familiar with tying basic knots, like tying shoes
- Required Skills: None
- Materials Fee: None
- Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)
Suggested Materials: Students should have the following materials to complete the project*:
- At least 25 yards of 4mm yarn or cord (try Bead Landing Cord or Lion Brand Yarn)
- Real or fake pumpkin for measuring (optional)
**If you do not have the suggested materials, the library has a limited supply.

Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library. Serving the Dr. Phillips and Metrowest communities, Southwest is near International Drive and the attractions. Southwest is a popular place for local adults, children, students and tourists.
