Start knitting today! Learn basic techniques to get started on knitting. Learn to cast on, the knit stitch, purl stitch and binding off.

Duration:  This is a learn to knit 3-part series on Tuesdays, October 22, 29, and November 5 from 10:30am-12pm.

  • Class Duration: 1.5 hours
  • Age Requirements: 13-Adult, 11-12 with accompanying adult
  • Recommended Prerequisite: None
  • Required Skills: None
  • Materials Fee: None
  • Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)

Optional Materials: Materials Students will need the following materials to complete the project:

  • Yarn: Size 4/medium weight yarn (worsted weight)
  • Needles: Size 7 (4.5mm)or Size 8 (5.0 mm) knitting needles
