Reach out and learn about all the bits, bobs, and bones that make up our hands! Create your own moving hand model and get a feel for all the work they do.
In this program children will create a working hand model to mimic the movement in our hands and arms. They will also learn the names of several ligaments, as well as the terms 'bone', 'tendon', 'joint', and 'ligament'. Recommended for ages 6-15.

The Hiawassee Branch began as a bookmobile station in 1962 and was first known as the Pine Hills Library. In later moves the branch became the West Colonial branch and in March 2000, Hiawassee. In early 2010, the Hiawassee Branch moved to a new home near the corner of Hiawassee Road and West Colonial Drive in the Highland Lakes shopping plaza.
