Love the idea of crochet - don't know where to start? Join this introductory series, learn the basics and create a modern scarf! **Students must bring own tools & yarn after first class**

This is a 4-day class series running Fridays, August 16, 30, September 13 & 27th, from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Get started with the basics, and plenty of practice!  We'll learn how to create a Foundation Chain, the Single Crochet, Double Crochet & Half Double Crochet stitches, as well as bind-off and finishing techniques. Your final project will be beautiful stitch sampler scarf which covers several beginner techniques preparing you for more advanced skills.

  • Class Duration: 4 parts, 2 hours per part
  • Age Requirements: Adult
  • Prerequisite: None

**Practice yarn and Hook will be provided during the 1st class**

**Required Materials**  After 1st session, students must bring the following materials to complete the project:

  • Yarn: 400 yards of size 4/medium weight yarn
  • Hook: Size H (5 mm) crochet hook
