Technology ClassroomDisplay your plants in style with macramé plant hangers. Learn how to work multiple strands of cord using lark's head, square and gathering knots.
- Class Duration: 1.5 hours
- Age Requirements: 13-Adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: Familiar with tying basic knots, like tying shoes
- Required Skills: None
- Materials Fee: None
- Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)
Suggested Materials: Students should have the following materials to complete the project*:
- At least 15 yards of 4mm yarn or cord (try Bead Landing Cord)
- 2 inch (5.08mm) brass or wooden ring (like Loops & Threads Wood Rings)
- Mini plant pot, 2-4 inches wide for testing (optional)
- If you do not have the suggested materials, the library has a limited supply.
