Online Class: Loom Knit Teddy Bear (5 Parts)

Intermediate Level

It’s too hot for a cuddle blanket in summer, but not too for a cuddle with a teddy bear. Grab your loom to make this adorable teddy bear for that special someone. Students must provide materials.

This class is a series, held on Thursdays, August 22 - September 26, 5:00 p.m.

This is an online class hosted through Zoom. You will receive an email with a link to access the Zoom before the event from your event host.  

A computer with access to the internet and speakers or headsets are required. A webcam and microphone are suggested to fully participate. Please note that Zoom allows you to share your video and audio with the group. If you choose to enable these settings, you are consenting to appear on audio and video. This event is not being recorded and we ask that out of courtesy to the other participants, please refrain from screen captures, photography or resharing information about the participants or the discussion outside of this event.

If using a mobile device, Android and iOS users must install the Zoom App (App Store | Play Store). However, please note interactivity may be limited. Additional information will be included in the email from your event host.  

• Class Duration: 5 parts, 1.5 hours per part
• Age Requirements: 13-Adult
• Recommended Prerequisite: Loom Knitting Level 1, Loom Knit Four Stitches
• Required Skills: Intermediate Loom Knitting Skills, Casting on, use of multiple stitch types
• Materials Fee: None

Required Materials: Students must have the following materials to complete the project:

• Three different color yarns size 4 worsted weight. 40 yards
  • One color for the body
  • Black yarn for the eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • One for the headband (Optional).
• 24 peg loom
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
