South Trail - Meeting Room 2Start crocheting today! Learn basic techniques while creating your first project, a bookmark for your favorite read. Techniques include creating a slip knot, chaining, and single crochet stitches.

- Age Requirements: 13-Adult, 11-12 with accompanying adult
- Recommended Prerequisite: None

- Out of District Fee: $10 (includes class and materials fees)
Optional Materials: Materials are provided for this class. Students may bring the following optional materials to complete the project:
- Yarn: Size 5/bulky weight yarn preferably in pastel/light colors to better see stitches
- Hook: Size L-11 (8 mm)

South Trail Branch is located in the Orange Blossom Center, a shopping center next to numerous multi-family housing units. It is a welcoming and colorful library full of sunshine and a popular spot for children and families.
South Trail Branch began in 1965 as the Fort Gatlin Branch at 105 Gatlin Avenue and moved to the corner of Holden Avenue and South Orange Blossom Trail in 1981. The move across the street to the current site in the Orange Blossom Center took place in 1996.
