Celebrate Pride and make something useful with this stashbusting plant cozy! This pattern can be altered to create a hanging planter. We will be learning color changing techniques during this series.

This class is a series, held on Wednesdays, June 5th, 12th, and 26th at 10:00am - 11:30am.

  • Class Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes
  • Age Requirements: Adult
  • Recommended Prerequisite: Crochet in the Round
  • Required Skills: Someone who can follow most patterns with ease, is able to read stitches and charts, and to whom working in the round is no longer a challenge.
  • Materials Fee: None
  • Out of District Fee: [$10 dollars per part of part of class] (includes class and materials fees)

Required Materials: Students will need the following materials to complete the project: 

  • Yarns: 2 - 20 yards of Medium, Size 4 yarn (cotton recommended) in rainbow colors
  • Hooks: 4.0mm US-G
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors
  • Stitch Markers

Note: Crochet skills are necessary to be successful in this class. New to crochet? Check out Let's Crochet Level 1.

Level Description
Beginner Someone who grasps the most basic stitches and can finish simple patterns with aid.
Confident Beginner Someone who easily handles standard stitches and can follow simple patterns.
Intermediate Someone who can follow most patterns with ease, is able to read stitches and charts, and to whom working in the round is no longer a challenge.
Advanced Someone who can adjust patterns to their own preferences, substitute yarn, and produce neat results consistently in flat, round, lace, and three-dimensional projects.
