Learn how to make your very own custom map tiles for your next campaign, session or one shot game on the Glowforge laser printer.
Have you struggle to find the perfect map for your next Dungeons & Dragons session? What about trying to plan out your next big dungeon crawl event and it just doesn't work on a whiteboard? Our Makerspace instructors will help you envision, design and bring to life the parts, pieces and specially designed hex tiles you need for a custom map.
During the workshop you will experience every step from brainstorm to the finished product. Our professional instructors will guide you through the whole process. This hands-on workshop requires basic computer usage skills, working with wood glue and using acrylic paints.
Class Duration: 2 hours
Age Requirements: Adult, Teen (Aged 13+)

Required Skills: fine motor skills, comfortable using wood glue and acrylic paints

The Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and resource center for the Orange County Library System. The Library has been located at this site since its beginnings as the Albertson Public Library in 1923. Public Reference Departments in the Orlando Public Library include Children's, Library Central, and Learning Central. The Children's Library offers spacious areas, special programs, computers and story rooms for our youngest readers and readers to be. The Technology and Education Center is located on the second floor and includes the Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity. The Friends of the Library Third Floor Bookstore is open daily and recycles withdrawn and donated books to the community.
